"Clear your mind." ~ Activating Compassion ~
One of the most valuable things that we can do for ourselves is to clear our mind. For many they feel they have a chatter that is constant in their heads; and may feel challenged in making this happen. It is like their mind goes from the moment they open their eyes until they close them and night; and even in their sleeping their head may continue to feel full.
However, taking the time for clearing the mind also clears out our worries, concerns, and unsettled feelings or situations that we have going on. Clearing the mind can be a great way to prep for your day; and a great way to release what has happened throughout the day. It only takes a few minutes upon getting up and a few minutes later in the day to create a great day; and to get some good rest.
This can be done through meditating, yoga, breathing. The main key is to give yourself a quiet space where you can take a few moments to see yourself having a joyous and successful day. Starting our day this way, sets the energy in motion to create a day that is that way.
If you are doing this at the end of the day, then it is about releasing things that have happened throughout the day. Taking the time to consciously breathe through, send loving energy, free yourself from the stresses of the day. I have even done this while taking a soothing bath; allowing the release to happen on many layers.
At the end of the day I like to add in gratitude; especially for the challenges and the insights that I received that my human self would not consciously ask to see. Just even go through 10 things that you are grateful for in your day; it can even be to have a few minutes to release things from your day. To start the day with a joyous heart, and end it with gratitude is to find yourself within the energy of compassion.
