At some point in our lives, many of us can feel lost, disconnected, or perhaps simply “stuck.” These painful places are not just emotional, but can also be seen as spiritual. Even the most painful experiences carry the potential to transform us. My goal is to help my clients discover greater freedom by connecting with their own deepest wisdom.
I work from psychodynamic and depth psychology perspectives primarily with adults and elders, specializing in the areas anxiety & depression, LGBT issues, and recovery from addiction. I offer a sliding scale and can facilitate out of network reimbursement.
I am particularly interested in the integration of psychology and spirituality. I welcome consideration of my clients’ religious and spiritual experience as part of the work. I am open to many ways of understanding this level of experience and I have no expectation that clients hold any particular faith perspective or, for that matter, any whatsoever.
