I possess clinical licensure in the state of Maine and have earned a Master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health. I’m currently working toward my Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, with an emphasis on transformational change. My dissertation emphasizes essential positive psychology constructs (“co-vitality”) and the potential for intrapersonal and interpersonal improvements within the student/teacher ~ therapist/client relationship. My Master’s thesis is entitled: Happiness as an Essential Psycho-Spiritual Focus. These ideas capture the foundation of my clinical and teaching philosophy: a strengths based emphasis that utilizes a solutions-focused model to allow for progress that inspires the individual toward positive change.
