Hello! I am an experienced counsellor/educator and researcher. I'm passionate about and currently researching aspects of best practice counselling approaches, in schools, organisational and private settings. Currently a Teaching Associate, Counselling Supervisor for MA students and PhD Candidate at Monash University in Melbourne Australia. I also provide private supervision (Skype, Face to Face, Group) for counsellors/therapists both in Australia and Overseas. Registered supervisor and clinical level 4 counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association.
Current Lecturer for the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors. Lecturing and assessment in numerous aspects of professional counselling development and modalities including; Person Centred, CBT, REBT, ACT, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology and Narrative Therapy.
Previous Director of Counselling at Woodleigh School(2005-2016) managing the psychological services for the school community and team of therapists across 3 campuses. I love working with children, adolescents and families to support them in their well-being and mental health outcomes, having worked in varied educational settings, both in Australia and Overseas.
Consultant to numerous professional settings regarding counselling/psychological practice and team support including, teaching/training in self-care, clinical setting design, MBTI for leadership and team development and staff/youth well-being programs.
