“Have faith in God,” Jesus said to them. “Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.…
Looking back I realize how fortunate I've been not being raised with restricted beliefs. I grew up believing that everything was possible and our only limitation was our mind.
I remember the first time grandma showed me how to roll a pencil across the table using just my mind. She explained that everything exists because we expect it to exist in one way or another. She told me how to place my feelings where I thought the pencil should be, instead of where it was and like magic the pencil moved across the table. As I got older, I continued my metaphysical games. I loved rolling pencils off of other kids desks in school and I continued experimenting with the minds limitless capabilities.
I loved knowing what people were about to say and when things were about to happen. I didn’t think that any of this was out of the ordinary, this was simply how things worked. April 17th, 1974, One day after school, I was working in our backyard horse corral hooking up lights for night riding. I was 15 feet up on a ladder when I accidentally grabbed the wrong end of wire and before I knew it, I had high voltage surging through my body. I remember thinking that if, the electricity didn’t kill me, the fall from the ladder would. I was unable to call for help when suddenly I was surrounded by a brilliant source of light energy.
I remember feeling the presence of pure love and that was the last thing I remembered before I was woken up by my mom when she got home from work.
She told me that I needed to get ready for the baseball game that my dad was taking me too that evening. I must have had a strange look on my face because she asked if I was okay. I told her what happened in the yard and she said that wasn’t possible because she just checked on the horses and didn't see a ladder in the corral or any wires anywhere.
